‘A Soldier’s Story’ Temporary Exhibition

Today our new temporary Exhibition titled ‘A Soldier’s Story’ opened to the public, using museum collections to recall the experiences of soldiers from 1st King’s Dragoon Guards and The Welch Regiment.

Throughout history people have enlisted for a common purpose of serving their Country, becoming part of an Army family where soldiers live, travel and work together as a team. Soldiers are amongst those ordinary people that we all know who so very often carry out such extraordinary and outstanding acts of bravery. Soldiering has changed dramatically over time along with the changing face of conflict in our world. Every soldier, even as part of his army family, has an individual set of experiences and a very personal story to tell………..

Why not come along and take a look at the exhibition? Further information can be found on our website at http://www.cardiffcastlemuseum.org.uk
